(This Day In Disney History)...
When the BBC took up broadcasting again on June 7 1946 after the end of the Second World War they included in the day's program 'Mickey's Gala Premiere', the same Disney cartoon that had been so unfortunately interrupted in September of 1939 when the German army invaded Poland.
